A collection of papers presented in FRPM23 will be published in two Elsevier Journals:

1. Journal of Materials Science and Technology:  Selected presenters (approx. 15) will be invited to submit their manuscript starting 1^st July. The deadline for final submission is 31 October 2023. The main theme of the this special issue will be sustainability and will include topics such as recycling of flame retardant materials, bio-based flame-retardants, use of green chemistry to develop flame retardants, vitrimers, reduction of smoke toxicity of materials, ecological impact of flame retardant materials etc. Please consult special issue web page for further details.

2. Polymer Degradation and Stability: This special issue is open to all and expected to provide fire retardant materials' developers with latest in research and design of new fire retardant materials and understanding their mechanisms of action. The submission for this special issue starts on 1 July 2023 and end 1 Sept 2024. Please consult special issue web page for further details.
